St. Teresa of Avila Soap
St. Teresa of Avila Soap
Scented with Amber, Incense, and Ylang Ylang (one of our favorite fragrance blends!)
This design of the soap is inspired by the habits worn by Carmelite nuns, and honors one of the most famous Carmelite nuns, St. Teresa of Avila.
Teresa of Ávila was a Spanish Carmelite nun who lived in the 1500s. She was a mystic and author of spiritual writings and poems. She founded numerous convents throughout Spain and was the originator of the Carmelite Reform that restored a contemplative and austere life to the order.

The soap includes charcoal and zinc oxide. Zinc Oxide helps protect cells from being damaged, halts the ageing process, and prevents skin dryness by filtering out the harmful UV rays. Activated Charcoal helps remove impurities and dirt from the skin, improving its texture and appearance
